Admission Requirements

FRESHMAN ADMISSIONS MATERIALS: Submit the application for admissions with the application fee, your official ACT or SAT test scores, and your final high school transcript once you have graduated from high school. TRANSFER STUDENT ADMISSION MATERIALS (students who have attempted 12 or more college credit): Submit the application for admissions with the application fee and your official college transcript from any colleges and universities that you have attended.

DEADLINE: December 31st: Presidential Leadership Scholarship: UM's premier academic scholarship based on merit. All students will be evauluated for scholarships based on information on application, no extra form to fill out. Application needs to be fully submitted by December 31st. http://www.admissions.umt.edu, Financial Aid: http://www.umt.edu/finaid . To apply for need based aid please use the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) plus other documents as requested by UM's Financial Aid Office. Application processed on a first-come first-served basis after January 1st. UM School Code 002536

Every fall, the Montan Post Secondary Educational Opportunites Council (MPSEOC) hosts 19 college fairs throughout Montana. The fairs feature between 65-95 colleges, universities, technical schools, military branches and other agencies from both in state and out-of-state.
