COLLEGE  CA$H  SCHOLARSHIP  Program & Other prizes

The Montana Post Secondary Educational Opportunities Council is pleased to offer several scholarships to the students who attend the Montana College Fairs and the Montana Tribal College Fairs.  Each year our partners and sponsors have generously donated all of the funds needed to award these scholarships.   Therefore, every year donations and scholarships vary due to sponsorship offerings.
  • The scholarship / prize winners will be randomly selected from the database of names collected at the college fairs.
  • Student names will be collected at the online sign up of our college fair.
  • For the September Fairs, students may enter the scholarship/prize drawing by registering online for the virtual fair & attending 1 live session within the Montana Virtual College Fair.  For every "live session" a student attends, they will be added into the drawing again for each additional live session attendance.  If a student does not have access to sign up virtually or has technical difficulties but still wants to be included in the event and drawing, please see your HS counselor to ask about entering for the scholarship/prize drawing under special circumstances and you may still register by filling out a paper form per the HS Counselor request to MPSEOC.  By doing this students agree to be entered into the College Ca$h Program and understand that their name and contact information will be provided to each of the authorized corporate sponsors, partners, & schools. 
  • The corporate sponsors, partners, and schools may contact the student by mail, phone, or e-mail with information related to financing and learning about higher education options and tips. The corporate sponsor is not authorized to provide any other information or solicitation.
  • Corporate sponsors, partners, and schools will not provide the database of names to any other entity.
  • MPSEOC will randomly draw the scholarship/prize winners.
  • The drawing for scholarships/prizes from the September Fairs will be held in November, and the winners will be notified after the drawing.
  • The drawing for scholarships/prizes from the Winter/Spring Fairs will be held after each fair, and the winners will be notified after the drawing.
  • September scholarships/prizes may be awarded to both seniors and juniors.
  • Recipients must utilize the funds within 1 year of their high school graduation date. The scholarship recipient may use the funds at any accredited institution (in-state or out-of-state) in which they enroll.
  • MPSEOC will require verification of enrollment before funds are distributed to the student's account at the institution.
