Instead of trying to work with individual students for this event, we highly encourage you to make this as easy as possible for you and students and help your students engage easily with this live fair!  Here are some simple steps to set-up your own mini, on-site "POP-UP Fair" experience at your own school for your own students!
  • Step 1  |  Preview the “Example Packet” - Mini, On-site, POP-UP Fair option to give you an idea of how easy this can be and also a huge service to your students to have 100’s of education and career professionals in one place ready to live chat to help your students!
  • Step 2  |  Pick Your Location  |  Find and reserve a space at your high school to set up this easy plan!  I.E – the gym, a large room, a hallway, etc.  Save this space for the times of the “Live Student Fair.”  Live Fair times are:  April 7 @ 1-3pm  & April 8 @ 9-11am
  • Step 3  |  Simplified Scheduling!  Students ONLY need 20 Minutes @ the Fair!  |  Work with your high school administration and staff to allow your Juniors & Sophomores (and any other students who are interested) to attend this quick, mini fair during the “LIVE Student Fair” times.  Most high schools are picking an easy 20 minutes for their students to cycle through the onsite fair to engage with all the exhibitors, live chat, ask questions, request information, sign up for the $1,000 scholarship, etc.
  • Step 4  |  2 Weeks Before The Fair  |  Share promotions and invites to attend your on-site, high school college & career fair information with your students, parents, community, etc.
  • Step 5  |  1 Week Before The Fair  |  Print The Final Fair Packet – This packet will be available to print the week before the fair and will include a page for each exhibitor and a QR code to scan to connect students to the live fair event and live chat.  *  Printable Packet is linked here.
  • Step 6  |  The Week Of The Fair - Setup For Your Pop-Up Fair
    • See “Example Packet” for setup ideas.
    • Lay pages for each exhibitor out in a room, gym, and/or tape on a hallway wall where students can walk through safely and easily to check out exhibitors, live chat during the live fair times with exhibitors, learn about colleges, careers, scholarships, and so much more!
    • Allow your Juniors and Sophomores (and any interested Seniors) to attend at least 20 minutes of the mini, on-site fair.  Most schools are letting their students out of class for 20 minute increments to walk through the on-site mini fair and get their questions answered in real time with all exhibitors available to you and your students.
    • Student will be able to use their cell phones to directly connect to the live fair, or student could use a laptop/computer to directly access the virtual fair @ www.MontanaColleges.com .
    • Please encourage parents to attend.
    • Please follow all COVID safety protocols for your school and adjust this plan as you see fit.
  • Have fun!
